On October 5, Shae's company had an employee appreciation get together at Vala's Pumpkin Patch. Mathen and I went with her and we're very excited because it was our first experience. I love watching Mathen experience new things...it makes my life as a mommy complete.
We of course had to take pictures wherever we could. The first stop was the cowboy. We were walking through the fairy-tale portion and we found Cinderella's pumpkin. Look at my handsome prince :)
Mathen was extremely thrilled to see this tractor/train. He ran right over and climbed into one and Grandma climbed in with him. I was hesitant seeing that I was 33.5 weeks pregnant and was already having to walk everywhere (uphill was the only way to get anywhere...it seemed). The older gentleman offered to take a picture of us and then proceeded to persuade me to ride as well. I'm glad I did because it actually gave me some down time :) The gentleman did a great job and I noticed he was making sure I was OK during every turn. We said, "Thank You!" and headed on our way to the next adventure.
Grandma took advantage of this cow cut-out and Mathen thought she was "too funny."Not the best but you can see him :)
Then we needed a snack so ice cream was next. There was a button to push by a big mechanical cow. Mathen was hesitant but he pushed it and we learned a lot about the dairy process. We headed to pick out a pumpkin next and then grabbed some kettle popcorn to go.
Thanks for allowing us to tag along Shae!!
