Saturdays = College Football

On Saturday, September 25, the family went to the University of Nebraska Omaha's football game. Doug & Shae have season tickets so we decided the weather was perfect for an outdoor game. It was a lot of fun getting to see Mathen react to the atmosphere. He spotted "Durango" quickly in the crowd so eventually Rick took him to say "HI!" Mathen was very excited to come tell me all about it.

 Of course, when you are at a football game, you must have some concession stand food so hotdogs were the choice of the evening. We added some popcorn into the mix later on :)

 We also enjoyed watching the band perform during half-time. Mathen didn't take his eyes off the field during the entire show. He danced during the songs and clapped when they were finished. He also said, "Great Job!"

UNO won that night and we chalk it up to us being there for the first time HAHAHA. I'm sure we will be back eventually. Thanks Grandpa & Grandma for letting us tag along!
